Review of Eddie the Eagle (2016) by Ntc R — 20 Jul 2016
Eddie The Eagle: This biopic, based on the true story of Great Britain's unlikely 1988 Olympic ski jumper Mike "Eddie the Eagle" Edwards, is cute, campy and corny... and I loved it. While it certainly has a "been there, done that" sort of textbook feel to it, strong performances by Taron Egerton and Hugh Jackman make this film soar like an eagle.
