Typically cheesy film about a sportsman.
I have to say I loved this film, Taron Egerton (who's career I'll now be following) portrayed a national hero perfectly. An awkward Eddie trying to make the Olympics and then trying to win the Winter Olympic Gold. wW all knew the ending, we all know how he won but this film recreates that moment over and over. It was brilliant! and gives you new respect to Eddie the Eagle. It's your typical underdog story, just like the Jamaican bobsleigh team.
It's a film with a brilliant plot, not over the top visual effects and just generally nice to sit down and watch. A Saturday night in feel-good movie for sure!
