Review of Eddie Murphy: Delirious (1983) by Eric C — 27 Nov 2009

Yes, I had to give this 100%, I know this may not be the most hilarious stand up ever made, but it was the first one I ever watched and is responsible for me to want to sit through other comedians.

First off, we all have to admit, this is some funny shit, lol. Eddie's topics here are ones that have been imitated by many others.

The comedy did spark controversy later one, but damn, how sensitive can you be. I have Crohn's Disease and when I watched Robin Williams make fun of it on his stand up HBO special I was still on the floor cracking up. Even though it was not a funny subject.

Some of my favorite skits have to be Michael Jackson's sensitivity, The Gay Honeymooners, I got some ice cream song, James Brown's hard to understand lyrics and more. You have to see it to believe it. Raw followed this, but tended to go a bit flat after you find yourself laughing your ass off to this.
