Review of Ed Wood (1994) by Forrest P — 16 May 2010
A film about the world renowned "worst director ever" Edward D. Wood Jr. The most shocking thing about this is how Burton looks at Wood from an affectionate and loving way. Most films would send him to be slaughtered.
Depp is fantastic! The joy he shows while directing isn't just in facial expressions but its practically seeping out of his pores! Martin Landau did some voodoo magic and became Bela Lugosi, a mind blowing performance! Rick Baker's makeup job on Landau should go down as some of his best work, saying quite a bit coming from me.
The rest of the performances from the crew around Wood are flawless, Murray steals every scene, what's new!
