Ed Wood is Perfect! Director Tim Burton has done a fantastic job with this movie! Johnny Depp gives one of the weirdest, but greatest performances of his career!
This is based on the true story of an unforgettable filmmaker named Ed Wood, (Depp), a director known for making hilariously bad movies like Glen or Glenda, Bride of the Monster, and Plan 9 From Outer Space, in his career. Set in the 1950s, Wood makes films with a star named Bela Lugosi, (Martin Landau in his Oscar-winning role), a horror movie star who played Dracula and then decided to be in Ed Wood's movie Glen or Glenda. Ed likes to dress ain women's clothing, which is weird, but hilarious. He never let bad reviews or studio executives try to stop his big screen dreams of becoming a great director just like his inspiration: Orson Welles from Citizen Kane.
With fantastic makeup, costume design and great acting and directing and an all star cast, including Bill Murray, Patricia Arquette, and Sarah Jessica Parker, Ed Wood is another Tim Burton masterpiece! Depp and Burton have done another great job just like they did for Edward Scissorhands. Martin Landau gives a great performance! Scott Alexander and Larry Karaszewski have wrote a fantastic screenplay! Depp is magnificent! This movie is definitely worth seeing!
