Review of Ed Wood (1994) by Eric T — 31 May 2013
"Ed Wood" is one of those films that captures the hardships that Mr. Wood had to go through to make his movies? perfectly. If you were to ask which director since the beginning of film had the strongest passion for his/her work, I would instantly say Ed Wood.
Tim Burton's theme of rebels who aren't fitted well with others is why he was the perfect director for such a film as this. Johnny Depp will never be able to top this role, and it is a damn shame he or Burton didn't win an Oscar for it.
