Review of Ed Gein: The Butcher of Plainfield (2007) by Nancy M — 16 Dec 2008
The man who inspired Robert Bloch for 'Psycho', and Tobe Hooper for 'Texas chainsaw' now has a second biopic. It is slow, stupid and badly made. Yeah, and he sees his mother everywhere, and she's mad at him. What could be the disturbing descent into the mind of a psychotic killer without any empathy for his victims, ends up as unwatcheable rubbish.
It's a shame.
