Review of Echelon Conspiracy (2009) by Alex B — 09 Aug 2009

Plays like an Eagle Eye ripoff with a healthy dose of WarGames sprinkled in to the third act. The film does have excellent pacing, and holds the viewer's attention fairly well, but doesn't offer anything new to the "1984"-inspired thriller genre.

And having the lead scream at a super-computer to "Learn!" in the inevitable "edge-of-your-seat" countdown scene was just silly.
