Review of Echelon Conspiracy (2009) by David S — 04 May 2010
The first thing that came to mind was Eagle Eye, and I wondered if these two were somehow connected. Then I realised they were filmed barely a year apart, and this one came after. That made it an even bigger disappointment!
It's really a mediocre set of actors too. Martin Sheen has done his fair share of great movies, but he plays the same kind of character he always does in the 21st century.
Movies like this just have too many plot holes, and try and take on effects that will compare to really great thrillers. This actually has nothing to Eagle Eye, and so if that didn't really catch you in, you won't enjoy this at all.
5/10.
