Only watch the MST3K version! What's the deal with Godzilla showing up with like 10 minutes left of the movie? Was he demanding more money? It's like a weird Suzanne Sommers Three's Company situation where she'd have a tacked on scene at the end of the episode on the phone talking to Janice.
