Review of Eaten Alive (1976) by Elziard B — 15 Jun 2008
This is a very underrated gem from Tobe Hooper. Expectations were undeniably high after THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE, which is the main reason why this is often frowned upon. However, I really liked it.
Neville Brand's creepy performance, the overall atmosphere, Robert Englund, and many other factors help to make this, in my opinion, a classic of the genre.
