I'm only giving it 1 star instead of half a star because Julia Roberts is in it but seriously I can't recall watching a movie so disengaging. I haven't read the book and probably (just probably) its a good book but the movie is just dreadful. I really don't care about Elizabeth Gilbert's life or about anyone that is so selfish, insecure and in one word stupid.
There are so many more interesting and inspirational people in the world that sitting for 2 a bit hours listening and watching the rumbles of an insecure person made me sick (I must say that I only finish it because I was watching it with another person and I thought it was rude to stop the movie). I can slam this movie more but I can't bother.
