A little too long for my liking when it comes to this genre of film. With that said, the scenery was beautiful, the cast was great, but nothing particularly grabbed me. It was definitely better than the first 9 pages that I read of the book version.
Richard Jenkins and Javier Bardem really got my attention with their acting in this movie. But that's about it. Also, the movie made me hungry.
