I did not like this movie. I have read the book which I did not like. I found Liz Gilbert to very pretentious and self-absorbed. The movie was choppy. I don't know how anyone could follow the story if they had not read the book.

Julia Roberts was awful as LIz Gilbert. I did not like any of the supporting characters except for Richard from Texas. Some of the facts from the book were changed to make the movie more dramatic. See it on TV for the scenery only.
