Based on the actual events... possibly somewhat glamourised and a bit exagerated (to making a movie more fascinating)is the tale of Liz Gilbert: writer and now a empty divorcee'.
As would most wemon of a certain age, experience a blimp when nothing else is going right in their life. The ultimate questions of "Will I find true love" or "is there such a thing as Happiness?".
