Bardem and Jenkins do some really good work in this film, but I really felt nothing but contempt for the Julia Roberts character. Lady, if you can afford to drop everything and spend a full year jet-setting around the world in order to "find yourself"--you don't have any real problems.
It's almost impossible to empathize with a character that's so entitled.
