Review of Eat Pray Love (2010) by Mina E — 15 Jul 2013
I have long since given up the idea that pages from a novel adapted to the silver screen will be brilliant. Keep expectations low, thus disappointments will be tolerable.Beauty of the locations especially Italy and Bali were the highlights as it does evoke the wanderlust in me and Javier Bardem, James Franco, Billy Crudup provides the easy eye candies.
Most of the humor of the book had been omitted. Some scenes are awkward and pointless. There is lack of character development although it runs at a long two hours plus.
