I love this movie for its delicious visuals and the cross-generational relationships involved. Ang Lee probed many issues facing Chinese and Taiwanese people today such as "old vs new", "east meets west" and letting one's children do what they want rather than what's good for them.

The twist in the end was hilarious and I couldn't stop laughing at all the funny moments in this film! A must-watch for anyone who enjoys heart-warming stories about family and love.
