Most people see this film and focus on the food. the point of this film is so deep, emotional and hit so close to home for me. it makes me miss and appreciate my dad, my country and the intricate and delicate relationships between men, women, father, daughters.
..and it exemplifies a complex and schizophrenic society like taiwan through these relationships.
