It's not bad, but it's definitely overrated in my book. as a comedy it's not exactly rip-roaringly funny. as a romantic movie, most of the relationships are here aren't adequately developed. as a movie exploring the chinese family it's just too safe and inoffensive.
That being said, I wouldn't mind a guy who reads dostoevsky and waits for his girlfriend for hours.
