Review of Easy Rider (1969) by Toronto D — 30 Sep 2009
Even though this could be considered a poor road movie or a hippie propaganda flick, it did have a lot of influence on the American films of the 70s, which was probably their most creative decade. Like Battleship Potemkin, this movie's influence is far greater than it's relevance.
Where Potemkin introduced the world to montage, Easy Rider introduced it to cool.
