Review of Easy Rider (1969) by Mariana B — 01 Dec 2008
This film is very original , and is a great piece for those who are into this genre. Directed by Dennis Hopper, who most famously to me would probably be playing king koppa in Super Mario Brothers. But it is original , in the fact that Hopper used every piece of scenery, person , backass thought that you could have in drug frenzy kinda way.
Those of you who are fans of the movie know that Fonda, Hopper , and the cast were smoking real drugs on the set. Which leaves me with the question , Did they really take acid in the scene? Most people criticize the graveyard scene, I on the other hand find it to be a crucial part in the film, Kind of ironic.
But it has an art feel to the drug trip , and that to me is incendiary.I f you haven't seen this epic classic pick ti up at the video store and watch it with the kids. Because it is what it is, a classic.
