Review of Easy Rider (1969) by Matt M — 28 Mar 2009
Easy Rider is a movie, which is superbly entertaining even if it has some little flaws. The main three guys are all authentic and funny, but still I liked best Jack Nicholson's performance. The movie had obviously really modest budget and this time around it's not about a superb script or character development.
It's about an authentic feeling of the late 60s, some nice visuals and fitting music. You can help smiling when the fellas make their way towards New Orleans. They must have had a lot of fun when shooting the film, that's fairly obvious.
In the end, even if it's not a perfect as a movie, it's still really ground-breaking stuff and a classic in some way. Works really well also when having a few beers while watching it.
