Review of Easy Rider (1969) by Björn C — 01 Sep 2009
A classic indie movie telling the story of two bikers on a cross country roadtrip. Unfortunetaly the legacy and the legend of this movie is bigger than the film itself. Drug fuelled scenes have their moments (the camp fire scene) and failures (surrealistic LSD-trip in the cemetary).
More a collection of encounters than a actual story this is still an important movie which signalled the start of a different kind of filmmaking in Hollywood.
