Easy Rider has stunning scenery, solid soundtrack and respectable performances, but it is ultimately a weak and quite overrated movie thanks to incredibly flat characters, a boring story that just moves through the motions, awful ending and an apparent lack of any purpose, meaning, depth or point to it plus it lead to countless of those awful counter-culture films in the next decade which is also a big minus.
