Review of Easy Rider (1969) by Jeffrey N — 02 Oct 2014
Slow in places but beautiifully shot, and with a fantastic soundtrack to it.Told a very moving story in a way of just how prejudist the USA was, back in the day, when these 2 men were never allowed in motels etc,not served at diners (and the rest but I dont want to ruin the film for people who havent seen it yet.)simply for having long hair or fancy bikes.
If you find it hard going then stick with it until Jack Nicholson enters the story, from then on it is tough stuff.
Recommended, for being a great story, even if it has dated a little now,and for some lovely cinematography and acting.
It should be a film on your 'movie bucket list'.
