Review of Easy A (2010) by So C — 11 May 2014
Emma Stone made this film ten times funnier than it had any right to be. I'm in love with the way she delivers her lines - constantly wise-cracking, snapping like a whip - but there's a vulnerability to her performance that makes the viewer genuinely feel for her, overshadowing an annoying soundtrack and some really obnoxious supporting characters (even though Stanley Tucci is nothing short of hilarious as Emma Stone's dad).
