Review of Easy A (2010) by Dokalu — 02 Mar 2015
Easy A is not the typical teenager drama. It really is a different kind of movie in that “genre”, and that’s what makes it so good. Obviously, not an Oscar movie, it does what it has to do, and does it really well.
It’s about a girl that, just for telling a lie, begins to be known by everyone in high school as a slut, when she really isn’t one. Emma Stone does a brilliant job here, one of the bests she has ever done, and everything really worked out for me.
Obviously, some parts were stupid, some parts had a little too much coincidences, and it was really predictable about plenty of stuff, but what would you really expect about a teenagers “genre” movie.
