Review of Easy A (2010) by Alan Fong D — 22 Aug 2012
Irresistible Emma Stone owned the screen with her smart performance of a girl-next-door caught in the complicated system of high-school social mayhem mirroring the adultery theme as told by the book 'The Scarlet Letter'.
Stone's on-screen presence is so magnetic that it seems that she's the only force driving the story forward. Funny, quirky yet highly intelligent, 'Easy A' portrays how social pressure impacts today's youth into a pure meltdown of the rumour mill.
It's one of those high-school story seldom told from the protagonist's point of view, and it's a cinematic story worth telling all along.
