Review of Easy A (2010) by Rex A — 26 Oct 2013
Emma Stone is a humorous and talented actress, but this isn't her best showing. The story is laughably silly to boot and, despite the film's best effort, the main character just isn't that likable and therefore we can't sympathize with her plight throughout the movie.
A mediocrely made, minimally funny comedy that's altogether quite forgettable. The coy self-awareness that works with comedies like Mean Girls makes this film infinitely more obnoxious.
