Review of Easy A (2010) by Huw G — 27 Nov 2012
Easy A rises above the general teen fare to be quite the entertaining movie, reaching pretty much the limits of it's restricting genre.
Emma Stone helps bring a very quirky sense of humour both to her own role, and to the film as a whole, which allows supporting cast members such as Stanley Tucci to really flesh out the humour.
While I'm not a fan of reimagining classic texts into modern day high schools, I found this one enjoyable and another example of why I'm keeping a close eye on Stone's work in the future.
