Review of Eastern Promises (2007) by Ed A — 19 Jul 2010
That fact this movie felt like it flew past bears testament to how good it was. Viggo Mortensen was superb (again) as the 'silent but deadly' mob driver and he was more than ably assisted by strong supporting performances.
One of the best films I've seen for a while and I'm pleased to hear rumours of a sequel in the pipeline. Highly recommended but not for the squeamish.
