Review of Eastern Promises (2007) by James B — 11 Aug 2010
Cool film depicting the dealsings of the Russian mafia in London. Some great performances and cool violent scenes. Goes a bit OTT towards the end but not enough to ruin what feels like an authentic and gritty film with a story arc I wasn't really expecting.
Viggo pulls the accent off and there's plenty of cool action and good acting, I'd recommend this to anyone who enjoys gang films and Viggo Mortensen (naked).
