Eastern Promises was an odd movie. It was not so violent, but it was hard to watch through seeing all those onscreen nudity as well. This is the only Viggo Mortensen film that I have seen other than the LOTR series. I am not a big fan of the actor, but he has a daring role in this film. The acting and drama involved in this film is okay, but my favourite actor here is Vincent Cassel.
