Great effort by cronenberg, but regretfully Russian mobsters didn't come across as real to me. Viggo's tattoos looked stunningly realistic though, in fact he tells a story in the DVD extras about how once after the day of shooting, he went into a bar and there were some Russians who recognized his tattoos and ran away fast ;).
