Review of Easter Parade (1948) by Mya G — 22 Mar 2010
Another fun, brainless musical from a time when plots were simpler and everything was happier. Judy Garland gets a chance to show off her considerable comedy chops with her extremely cute portrayal of a chorus girl recruited by Astaire (effectively playing himself as a moderately obsessive dancer-choreographer) to become the Next Big Dancing Sensation.
Ann Miller dances up a storm as the Other Woman, but Judy steals the show.
