Review of Easter Parade (1948) by Jennifer H — 19 May 2009
A dance man picks up a new partner after a drunken night and after his old one abandoned the act. Infatuations and small revenge plots lad to intriguing situations that make this a delightfully witty romantic comedy with some likeable twists and some excellent musical numbers.
Furthermore, this is the one and only time Fred Astaire and Judy Garland, two musical legends, shared the big screen.
