Review of East Side of Heaven (1939) by Sv G — 08 May 2008
From 1939 and the silver screen comes this classic Crosby flick co-starring Joan Blondell. About a couple who keep having to postpone their own wedding plans. Just as they think they may be able to finally get married, he finds himself quite by happenstance in care of a baby.
Lots of movies like this one - but it does have it's charm & the kitchen choregraphy in the musical number in the scene in the Skillet Cafe was a lot of fun to watch.
