Such a great film. james dean really does a great job of portraying the angst of cal trask, a son struggling to obtain his father's love. dean is fantastic in this film - if only he had lived longer.
While the film strays a bit from steinbeck's novel, the themes and concepts behind them still ring true.
This is a must see film for dean and steinbeck fans alike.
