Review of Earthquake (1974) by White R — 04 May 2010
It's funny how different disaster films were back in the 70s compared to now; these days they usually end as we see some sort of recovery effort or rebuilding. here in earthquake though you get no such ending - which I think it's to be commended for.
but on the whole it's not all that exciting and the special effects are a bit lame by today's standards. and I didn't care for the moralizing aspects of it - but I don't want to say anything about it as it may give some of the plot away.
kind of fun to watch as a window into the early 70s.
