Review of Earthquake (1974) by Brad G — 04 Dec 2010
One of the more enjoyable entries in the disaster film genre, Earthquake works best when philanderer engineer Charlton Heston and burnout cop George Kennedy are on screen; together they will save all of Los Angeles.
..or at least their ladies. Plenty of entertaining dangers await with both villainous looters and crazed National Guardsman roaming the wrecked landscape. Nothing mindblowing here, but you gotta appreciate the PG exploitation excess.
