Reminiscent of ET but without the intensity or emotional entanglements. This is wholesome family fare, and on that alone is deserves attention. Best audience will likely be pre-teens. The script does wear a bit for adults.
And the bouncy hand-cams don't do much for us either. A sweet story in spite of all that.
