Review of Earth to Echo (2014) by Patrick K — 04 Aug 2014
This movie should come with the same warning as roller-coasters. Why the filmmakers thought this technique of filming would work is beyond me. The constant jittery motion of the camera made 3 of the 6 people in my family ill.
My oldest daughter actually threw up. WE DON'T GET MOTION SICKNESS but this film induced it for the first time. Horrible film making. The story might have been cute and/or entertaining but I spent the whole film looking down so I eventually stopped listening too.
I wish they would release a version filmed like a normal movie so I can see what happened. If you rent it at least you can stop it, get off the roller coaster for 10 minutes, and then watch another 5 minutes.
Of course, it will take all day to watch it and you will have a massive hangover headache. I still feel ill 14 hours later as I write this.
