It doesn't seem fair to me to judge this movie. Personally, I did not like it at all and I found it to be incredibly childish. It's something like E. T. but it would be an insult to Spielberg to compare the two films.
Perhaps this can be a fulfilling movie for the PG 13 audience. The directing was not bad at all, it had some really good effects and the ending was quite good. However, this film wasn't for me. My point being, if you're over 15 and attempt to watch this movie, you take a huge risk.
