E.T. is my favorite movie of all time, and this definitely borrows from it. That doesn't make this a bad movie though as some critics would suggest. It's no E.T., but the kid actors are likeable, the story is good, and at the end of the day it's enjoyable.
The filming with camcorders and phones works and the music is great. I recommend this one.
