Review of Earth to Echo (2014) by Rees R — 06 Aug 2014
I firmly believe Earth to Echo achieves what it sets out to do. The sense of intrigue, friendship and realism are all well captured in the way I felt like a modern film made for children couldn't do.
The acting isn't particularly strong from the three leads, but when the important moments come they pull through. The main thing that surprised me was the amount of heart and emotion that this film managed to pull out in it's final moments.
If I was in my early teens this could easily have been one of the most important films of my childhood.
