EARTH GIRLS ARE EASY [1989]: A Cult Movie that's so quirky it's so enjoyable, EARTH GIRLS is a bomb- blast of 1980's style mixed with a quirky love story, an Alien tale and a Musical in parts, makes this so fun to watch.
Plotline; an Alien space ship lands in the pool of a love hungry Beautician and inside are three hairy aliens one red, one yellow and the leader a blue alien. As luck would have it the Beautician's girl hungry fiancé has left her so it's up to the blue alien to woo her.
This movie is so enjoyable it's a cult movie hound's delight with its references to other cult films like THE FORBIDDEN PLANET [1956], the movie serial THE PHANTOM EMPIRE [1935], EARTH V.S THE FLYING SAUCERS [1955], and DEATH RACE 2000 [1975] to name a few. My rating for this cult movie hound's delight is a solid 70%.
