Review of Eagle vs Shark (2007) by Courtney S — 06 Jul 2008
Another one of those quirky indie comedies about awkward people who have off-beat, sweet encounters set to acoustic indie rock music - and not one of the better ones. The biggest problem is that Jemaine Clement's character is such a contemptible dweeb it's hard to understand why she - a frumpy, but more or less likable sort - is in love with him.
On top of that, it's just not funny.
