Bizarre, riotous Kiwi humour. Comparisons to Napoleon Dynamite are understandable, but this film has an added dimension of real sensitivity in parts. The odd relationship develops more tangibly, and there are more adult themes.
Though it is perhaps equally zany, it is a more realistic zaniness which I appreciate.
