Awful, horrible, sexist, offensive, pretentious and generally unkind. which is the opposite of what you'd expect - especially from flight of the conchord's jemaine, but I cannot emphasise this more - the film sucks.

if you're someone who hasn't watched many indie movies, and who thinks something like garden state is artsy, you might be dazzled into liking the wry, pseudo-hip stylings, but think about how genuinely unkind, unfair and untrue the characters are - and their utterly ridiculous, melodramatic lifes are too - and you're realise that it's just a polished turd with some very cool, if utterly irrelevant, stop-gap inerludes.
